Gesture theatre, mask theatre. Years ago, on the first day of school, he sent his boy off into the classroom. The child cried his lungs out, as he turned away firmly hiding tears rolling down his cheek. Today, his son and daughter-in-law hand-in-hand, together with him, as they arrived at the elderly’s home. He looked at them longingly; as they turned away firmly with a sigh of relief. It is about old and young; forgetting and remembering; encounter and departure; it is about Hong Kong and home; it is about you and me.
Nouveau cirque, teatro gestuale, clown. A pact, a secret, a promise… to meet again in 20 years in the same place and at the same time. The old treehouse where two friends shared their afternoons with games, laughter, dreams and fantasy. Time has passed and the inevitable distance has grown, but that doesn’t mean they have to forget. Twenty years later the two characters meet again in order to stay together, together, even though life has led them to walk separate paths. DistanS is a story about friendship, memories that still live in our hearts despite the passing of time, the fragility of human nature, breakups, loneliness, and a love strong enough to regenerate and rebuild interpersonal relationships. Juan Salvador Tramoya
Physical comedy, mime, gesture theatre. Juan Salvador works as a cleaner in a theatre. While tidying up a changing room he discovers pieces of cloth, cotton swabs and brushes. Juan Salvador lets his imagination go wild, the pieces of cloth turn into doves, the swabs become firecrackers and he soon loses the sense of space. A moon rises from the changing room and he suddenly finds himself lost in the immensity of the ocean. Juan Salvador lives in his mind marvellous and absurd adventures which almost never lead to a happy ending, as he hides within the menial tasks of cleaning, a vulnerable and romantic soul.

Dance theatre – physical comedy. The relationship between a job candidate and an computerized answering machine. Can the humanity of a woman win over artificial intelligence? A crafty mix of dance and theatre to tell the audience the story of this dystopian relationship. We laugh but at the same time we are invited to reflect on our relationship with technology. A suspended metaphor that entertains and frightens us at the same time. ‘An episode of Black Mirror live on stage’.
